CorTrans is seeking talented sales representatives with proven track records. The sales candidates must identify and generate new business in assigned territory through market knowledge, networking, by follow-up on internal/external leads, and maintaining a book of business. Candidates will develop and implement a personal strategic sales plan for assigned territory to include a primary and secondary market focus and an account list of said market. Sales Executive will be responsible for creating, building and maintaining customer profiles and accounts in company Customer Resource Management system.

Domestic Air Freight Account Sales Executive

This position develops profitable revenue streams across the entire portfolio of company services focusing on Domestic Air and Specialized Truckload transportation services, with familiarity of International Air and Ocean (import and export). Candidate must have a strong knowledge of market and must have first-hand relationships with shippers and decision makers.

International Air & Ocean Account Sales Executive

This position develops profitable revenue streams across the entire portfolio of company services focusing on International Ocean and Air import and export, as well as Domestic Air and Specialized Truckload transportation services. Specialized Equipment Sales Executive

This position develops profitable revenue streams across the entire portfolio of company services focusing on Specialized Truckload transportation services with knowledge of the international market as it relates to Specialized Equipment. Candidate must have a strong current market and current shipper knowledge in the Specialized Equipment, Heavy Haul, Over-Dimensional, Break-Bulk, and Project Cargo shipping arenas.

Requirements

Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent progressive experience (at least 3-5 years) in outside sales and transportation. Candidate must have significant knowledge of the transportation industry with specific knowledge in the industry interested in applying for. Candidate needs a proven track record in closing business and has a high degree of professionalism for successful presentation of company’s services.
